I am born in China and moved to Manchester to study at University of Manchester from Dublin in 2005. I have lived in Salford for more than a decade.
I started to draw between my professional accounting exams about 6 years ago. Drawing and painting make me more relax, focus and paying attention to the details.
I use ink markers and acrylics for most of my works. I enjoy to do portraits and figures, which express emotion and culture.
I think that I use markers a lot because they are easy to pick up and leave no mess at the studio. I can leave the work in progress untouched for a long period and continue to work on it.
