Salford Art Club Rules October 2009
1. The Organisation shall be called Salford Art Club and will meet at the City of Salford Museum and Art Gallery in accordance with the rules and regulations of the city of Salford.
2. The aim of the club shall be-
I. The promotion of all forms of visual arts
II. To provide for the members the opportunity to meet regularly in an atmosphere
conducive to the promotion of aims
III. To mount an annual exhibition
3. The club shall hold annually a General Meeting for the discussion of club matter, the resolution of proposals and the election of Official and members elect. All voting by show of hands.
4. The Officials of the club serving in an honorary capacity shall be-

5. Officials of the club are elected by open voting at the Annual General Meeting and constitute the Committee of Salford Art Club.
6. Additional members may be elected or co-opted onto this committee in order to assist the officials of the club. Such members will be elected by open voting at the Annual General Meeting or co-opted by the committee during the year as and when necessary.
7. Officials and Members elect are expected to serve for up to 3 years in succession provided they are elected at each subsequent Annual Meeting following their initial election.
8. There are no limits to the number of years or the number of positions a member may serve as official of the club providing they are elected to do so annually.
9. A list describing the number of members elect and their duties along with the duties expected of the officials of the club will be kept by the club secretary.
