Tony Easom
I started painting as an enthusiastic amateur in January 2013 at the age of sixty three. I have always enjoyed drawing, sketching and performing folk music with my old guitar all my working life.
My working life as a plumber and pipe fitter has allowed me to travel, live and work on oil rigs, ships and large construction projects in the North Sea, Europe and ten years in South Africa where I experienced living and working on remote contracts in the African bush.
Many of my working life experiences, I have expressed in my love of song writing and am now hoping to further this in my new found painting skills which I have honed over the past year, after becoming a member of the Salford Art Club.
