An enjoyable evening at the art club annual Christmas party. Lots of food and drink, interesting conversation and a art based quiz to test our knowledge. One group managed 19.5 out of 20. We managed about 10 so must prepare better next time, or find out who their team members were and arrange a transfer.

The Path of the Remembered This is a final thank you for taking part and creating a memory square for the Path of the Remembered. A thank you from the organisers for the participation of the club. There will be a display of these during the exhibition in February. A virtual pathway of memory squares was created as part of the commemorative events in Salford to remember the battle of The Somme.
5,000 of these squares will be made into a path of ceramic tiles to be laid in Heaton Park the first weekend of July 2016. SAC members designed and submitted memory squares dedicated to people who were affected in some way by this battle. Family members, footballers, wives ,mothers, Pals regiments and lads clubs all feature amongst those remembered. As members it was our own poignant, creative tribute to those who gave their lives during those years.
