Salford Art Club Exhibition at The Cornerstone April 2017

Several art club members and special guests.exhibited at the Cornerstone Salford as part of "The Art of Salford Exhibition" This was a new venture organized by a member Tony Easom. It proved to be a great social occasion for members and a chance for local people to admire the paintings on show.
Tony is looking to make this an annual event, and with very few venues now available to exhibit work, a welcome addition to club activities.
We were pleased to be supported in this new venture by our club President Geoffrey Key. It was also a chance for club member Liz Ackerley to capture the opening night as paintings.

The next exhibition at The Cornerstone will take place January. I have been doing these exhibitions twice a year, Spring and Autumn. However the centre is becoming so popular January was the earliest I could get for the next one.

I will try and book for next Autumn now and hopfully reinstate it as twice a year event.

We now have many new members at the club and hopfully they will also show their work in the coming events. I will keep everyone posted via social media and on club nights.

Heartfelt thanks to all the cub members who have suppoted the exhibitions with their art work and great company at exgibition social evenings.

As the exhibition mission statement goes: Let's see where it takes us!
